Eternal Love

Was it only yesterday
That you asked me to go away
It seems like eternity
I feel your presence so distinctively
My thoughts wander the bylanes of memory
I feel you close beside me
Need for you overpowering the self
I feel, I dream, breath and live
Each moment of mine yours
There are no why’s
My heart knows you are mine
Our togetherness and laughter
echoing in my soul
The perfume of your love lingering on
Each moment an eternity
Tis but a happy memory, a dream, a hope
At peace with the love in my bosom deep
In solitude, I wait
Our love, Everlasting in Eternity.
